Coolest Homemade Baby Gloworm Costume

My baby’s favorite toy is her playschool gloworm toy, it also have a sentimental meaning for me (my baby was super tiny when she was born, the gloworm’s head was a lot bigger than hers, so this toy reminds me how well she is doing and how small and fragile she was).

We decided to make her a Homemade Baby Gloworm Costume. We went to the fabric store (and took the toy with us to pick the right colors), got the fabric, tread, elastic, sew-on snaps and fabric sheet to print& fuse.

I used an onesie and newspaper to make the patterns of the jacket and diaper cover (I got the idea from a video of patterns on youtube) and for the hat I used a pattern that I found online.

Also I purchased glow sticks to put them inside her diaper cover, this came out really cool!
So after some hours of cutting and sewing and about $15 dollars spent we ended up with a very cute costume and an unforgettable first Halloween for my baby girl!
