When my daughter, Sarah, was young she loved the kid’s show Bananas in Pajamas”‘ and said to me she wanted to grow up to be a Banana in Pajama though she won’t admit to it now, at 19 years old. So I was surprised in September when she showed me the cartoon picture of B1 and B2 and said that she and her girlfriend Taylor (they’re always mistaken as sisters) wanted to be these characters for Halloween.
Before I knew it she had all the material purchased without buying the pajama pattern or an inkling how to make the costume. In addition to the cloth material she bought we also purchased the pajama pattern, 3/4 “foam and upholstery batting, screening and buttons. We have worked hard over the past month to have the costumes ready for Halloween. Sarah and Taylor love how their Bananas in Pajamas Couple Costume turned out and there won’t be mistaking who they are Halloween night!

How did you make the head part of the costume ? a friend and I are currently trying to go for Halloween as bananas in pyjamas and your whole costume looks pretty awesome and we want to try go for that too !
