A family of villains…
My children love the video game Lego Batman. My daughter came to me earlier this year and told me she wanted to be Poison Ivy… so we all sat down and came up with the Batman theme. Luckily we have a like mind and all went with villains.
My son Ethan is Mr. Freeze. It was made of thin foam mats as I could not find any of the thick ones…maybe next time… but I am pleased with the result. An old cheese doodle jar (plastic) was used for the head dome. Black sweats underneath. Glow sticks for the tubing and wiring… can’t tell it in the pic but they glow in low light. His belt was made of the same foam and a painted CD hot glued onto it. Oddly enough… the white hairspray was the best frost makeup for the face..it gave him a really crystallized look. The goggles were made out some glasses and were painted and more foam added to the sides to complete the look
My daughter Mikayla was Poison ivy. Her costume was made of an altered ballet leotard dyed green with Rit, faux leaves hot glued in various areas, green puff paint to add vines. The wig was purchased and leaves added later. The sleeves were removed and made into gloves. I hope this description is adequate.
My youngest went as Catwoman. We took old black tights and leotards and cut them to give them claw marks. The mask was bought at Walmart. All in all everyone had a great time.
just kidding! You guys look amazing! I wish my parents dressed up for Halloween when I was young. I’m 26 and still dress up! I love the fact that you were a henchman. Totally completes the look. So cool! Keep up the good work! Have a good’n, puddin’!
