Coolest Beetlejuice and Lydia Costumes

The Beetlejuice and Lydia Costumes were put together by purchasing separate items at Goodwills and Thrift Stores around our area. The suit coat was the only part of the Beetlejuice costume that was from the men’s department. The ruffled shirt was found in the women’s department and was a size 2! I had to cut the sleeves off to make it fit. The pants were also found in the women’s department and were just your normal everyday typical purple stretchy pants. You couldn’t tell and they looked great. I found the shoes the day of our party at the Goodwill, also womens.

My wife bought a cheap red prom dress off of Ebay and separately bought red tulle off Ebay and sewed it on the dress to give it the ruffled effect. She also used the leftover tulle to create her sleeves (seen in photo) and veil. To create the veil she bought a hair pick found at any big box store (Wal-Mart, Target, etc.) and hot glued it onto the tulle which created an instant veil!

We both did our own makeup and won scariest costume at our party!
