My husband and I went to lunch with my Dad to Bob’s Big Boy and we saw how similar our son’s hair was to Bob… *Light Bulb* – a homemade Bob’s Big Boy baby costume!
I went to Joanns and picked up a yard of red and white checkered fabric (with the big squares, not the small ones) and Simplicity Pattern 2905 (baby overalls). For the straps I used red ribbon instead of the material, like it asks on the pattern, so that it would look like Bob’s overalls.
I went to Walmart to get a single plain white onesie. At Michael’s I picked up Transformations Iron On Letters (black flocked letters size .75 in X 1.9 cm) and some blue ribbon (width: 1/8 ” [3mm]) for the collar and sleeves. Last but not least, Bob would not be complete without his cheeseburger. I picked it up at Petco.
Super easy pattern to follow and lots of fun :)
You’re a Goddess! Thank you for the patter number…wanting to make this costume for our son this year!!
sooooo cute
