My daughter was in love with the bubble-gum machine at a local video store. So of course when asked what she wanted to be for Halloween-a Bubble Gum Machine Costume Idea it was!
We started of with about 144 ping-pong balls, stabbed toothpicks into them and dipped them in to cups of paint, as if we were dying Easter eggs. Some we even swirled them!
Next I sewed red material to form the base, and added galvanized wire for shape. Glued some foil on it for the handles & added puffy paint.
The top is sewn out of clear plastic tablecloth sold by the yard at your local Wal-wart. I added elastic to the plastic to hold the balls in. Made her a cute little hat as the lid, and EVERYONE LOVED IT!!!
