Coolest Homemade Butcher Optical Illusion Halloween Costume Idea

I got this homemade butcher optical illusion Halloween costume idea from a couple of costumes off this website. I used chicken wire to make a torso, then arms, then shoulders, then the neck. I bought a scary mask and molded some chicken wire and paper towels to fill out his face. I also bought a flannel shirt and the overalls. I cut the overalls just above the zipper so I could slide them on and still use the restroom.

I used an old rubber maid tub and cut the back off. I cut the legs off of some old pants and stuffed them with packing foam and wrapped that in old towels. I wired the legs to the inside of the tub making them hang over as if my own. I got sausage casings and filled them with cotton and covered them with fake blood and let sit over night to dry. I put some fake scabs and blood all over me and sprayed fake blood all over the tub, me, and the ghoul. A couple of hidden straps that went around my waist and over my shoulders and a pole inside his body and stuck in my back pocket kept him in perfect position.

It took me about 13-14 hours to make and with some help, about 25-30 minutes to get on. It was the hit of the party. I had about 5 people actually ask me who was carrying me. It looked fantastic!!
