Coolest Homemade Colonel Sanders Riding a Chicken Costume

I started this Homemade Colonel Sanders Riding a Chicken Costume about 10 days before Halloween. I began by bending chicken wire to shape the outline of the chicken itself. When that was in place, it gave it 4 layers of paper mache. There was a large hole left in the middle for me to stand in.

I purchased 2 feather pillows and cut them open and spread the feathers all over the chicken form using flour and water for glue. The beek was made of cardboard covered with felt and so was the crown. The mask I wore was originally a Santa mask. I revised it by cutting some of the beard off and simply added the hat. I bought the white blazer at a 2nd hand store and carried a cane and KFC bucket.

The chicken was quite heavy so I used suspenders to hold it over my shoulders. The legs are just gold colored leggings with lines drawn on them. The feet were cut out of foam bed covering (the kind with the bumps on it). It ended up being so large that I needed to ride in the back of a truck to get around town. A good time was had by all.
