I wanted my daughter to be something different this year so, after thinking about it, my sister and I came up with a Homemade Cruella DeVille Halloween Costume.
My sister made the tutu and added black felt polk-a-dots to the white side. I already had black leotards and we turned one of my old red shirts into a little dress. She had some burgundy dress shoes that I spray-painted red. My sister found some red gloves at the dollar store and sewed up the sides to make them fit her better. We found a little black velvet jacket at the Goodwill and I added a dalmatian puppy button to the front.
Hobby Lobby had boas on sale so I bought one of those and found some play dress-up jewelry at Walmart in the kids section. My sister found some dalmatian material and my mom sewed it together to make a little cape. My sister had an old wig from last year’s Halloween that she cut down to size, hung it upside down and spray- painted it half-black and half-white.
The costume was a huge success and everyone loved her!
