Coolest Homemade Die Hard Tailgater Original Halloween Costume Idea

My son thought he was getting to old for Halloween so we came up with a Homemade Die Hard Tailgater Original Halloween Costume Idea for his age.

I had two black plastic bowls I had saved and asked what he might be able to make out of them. He said a BBQ grill. We attached the bowls together with wire at the back. Then we cut cardboard in a circle to fit the rim of the bottom bowl, painted it black and added some silver lines to look like a grill. The legs were the tricky part. We cut a dowel rod into three pieces and painted them silver made holes in the bottom to slide them threw.I connected the three legs with smaller pieces of dowel rods with hot glue.We inserted a rod going from one side to the other so that we could attach a strap to hang around his neck.As a finishing touch with hot glue he added baby doll parts to his grill complete with grill marks.

We dressed him in a Chiefs Football jersey and hat. Then we did his “dead makeup” and the Die Hard Tailgater was born.
