My fiance and I went in a Drunk as Skunks Couple Costume on Halloween!
I made his costume out of a black hooded sweat shirt. I sewed on fake fur to the front and top of his head down the back, then added a tail, which was stuffed with craft store fluff. The tricky part was sewing the tail to the shirt to get it to stand up the right way, that took a few tries and lots of stitches to hold up.
I did essentially the same thing for my costume, except I wore a black shirt dress. I spiked my hair and sprayed it white instead of making a head piece. We bought masks from a fabric store, but we didn’t wear them very long!
It was a fun costume!
