Coolest Homemade Energizer Bunny Halloween Costume

My daughter reminded me of the Energizer Bunny because she just keeps going and going. So it was only fitting that I make her a Homemade Energizer Bunny Halloween Costume. Everyone thought it was a great costume, and my daughter loved wearing it. My mother made the bunny costume and did an excellent job, because she does not sew much.

Supplies needed:

Bunny costume pattern
Pink fur
Dark sunglasses
cardboard
blue, black, white red paint
foam for drumsticks
wooden dowels
furry bunny slippers
blue and black foam sheets
glue gun
blue ribbon

First make the bunny costume, or I guess you could buy one, but they just don’t look as good, unless you spend a lot of money. I made the drum by folding and rounding a cardboard box and using a glue gun, lots of glue! I painted it white and drew the logo on the sides of the drum. The drumsticks are wooden dowels with painted red foam on the tips of them.

I found some pink furry slippers and cut up some blue and black foam to make it look like flip flops. I also glued blue ribbon to each side of the drum to hold it on her. Don’t forget the sunglasses! Of course I only put the glasses on for the Costume Contests.
