A homemade female Popeye Halloween costume idea for females. Costume was made to compliment my best friend who dressed as Olive Oyl. It’s meant for best friend duo costumes. The Miss Popeye costume is a sexy version of this classic cartoon icon. Now both females and males can dress up for Halloween as this beloved character.
Steps to making costume: purchase a bright blue fitted jeans. And a button down black shirt. Purchase yellow buttons, blue and red fabric. Add a yellow belt. Add blue fabric to arms of shirt and add yellow buttons to shirt. Draw out a square on red fabric. Then cut it out. After cutting draw a U-shape at the top of square fabric. Then attach to shoulder of shirt and color in a black line surrounding the red fabric to add the sailor theme. Purchase pipe n draw on tattoo. Voila you’re Popeye.
