My two year old daughter wanted to be a pilot. So I thought about it, hum what could I do? Then it came to me but how would I make the Homemade Fly Girl Halloween Costume.
I ran to Michaels and started to talk with people there. The next thing I know I’m buying foam, paint and a glue gun. Lucky, I had tools that cut the foam up easily. As the plane came together I thought this might just work. My daughter was so excited about her little pink plane.
It took about two hours to put it together and paint it. We then added stickers that had to be glued on. I found two strobes for the wings at Spencers. I later found a red flashing beacon for the tail. I also have a little push box that makes jet sounds.
Here is the final outfit. We call it “Fly Girl”
I am in awe. Every since our summer vacation our 1.5 year has been obsessed with “in the skyyyy”‘s (or aeroplanes as we call them).
We have a fancy dress coming up and hope to make him an outfit somewhere near as good as this.
Well done clever mummy!
This is amazing, we would love to make this our daughters theme party. Would you mind giving me step by step instructions?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Mariana
Hi, I’d like instructions too if you have them. I went to Michael’s and didnt see foam that looked big enough. What did you get?
