We do a lot of costume parties, so I am getting used to improvising costumes. Thrift stores come in very handy. For Frankenstein, just took an old blazer and zig-zagged the end of the sleeves. Old dress pants and solid shirt underneath. Painted my husbands hands and face green, a little black around the eyes.
For the bride I used a white sheet and cut and sewed to fit, with a type of cape for the back- notice at the back of the arms. Found an old curtain to lace up the front. Hair was a little tricky, actually put a kids paper birthday hat in and pinned up and hairsprayed hair around it (no one could tell). Then sprayed white streaks in hair, little white and black makeup.
looks great!
