I decided about two weeks before Halloween that I wanted to be the money you are saving on your car insurance by switching to Geico. So to make this Homemade Geico Money Costume I bought some perforated cardboard and had Kinko’s help me out with a 5 dollar bill. I had a harness that I wore and made the eyes myself.
This costume is 100% homemade! This was a big hit everywhere I went. It took about 6 hours to make and cost me about 60 dollars to make, but it was worth it. Several people asked me if Geico paid me to wear this costume, but no, I made this all by myself! I hope you all like it. Also the best feature, a built in cup holder! It was great for tailgating at the Iowa game that day. Also I carried around a radio playing the music so it felt authentic. What a great Halloween!
