I started working on this Ghostbuster Costume in 2009 and it took me 3 months to build. It is built with things I purchased online, some things from home depot, and some things lying around the house. It is all functional. All the lights work, and all of the switches are located on the “thrower”, I even added a rumble pack from an n64 to make the thrower shake.
It is painted in layers. The primer coat is all silver, so over time when the black paint wears off, it will give it a more authentic Ghostbusters movie feel.
The uniform is just a flight suit purchased off eBay with sewn on patches. I also purchased the name tag with my name sewn into it.
