The four of us obviously got this Homemade Ghostbusters Costume idea from the movie “Ghostbusters.” It took awhile to think of what to use for the costume. We used a white hooded suit, that is similar to a hazmat suit – which ended up being extra larges when we got them in the mail, but we worked with it. We printed out, laminated Ghostbusters signs, and put them on our shoulders, chest, and backpacks. It was hard to get them to stay taped to the backpacks, so we hot glued them.
We finished the look with accessories. We all wore black belts, black elbow pads, science goggles, paint masks, and black gloves. We held black tubes that we found (I believe they are typically used in cars), and hooked a keychain of keys, flashlights, glow in the dark frisbees and necklaces, and other various things around the house to our belts. The outfits get so hot when worn fully.
