Why so serious? Miss Joker!
Well as usual I like to be a guy’s costume but make it my girl version so I decided on a girl Joker costume, besides the Joker is creepy looking and most girl just want to be girly costumes. So I started thinking on what to get to make it. I came across some green hair paint at the 99 cent store and some Halloween makeup so I was like that’s it, Ima, be it!
I got most of my stuff at the Goodwill. I was on a budget this year so I went there and bought a purple huge coat, cus I couldn’t find a blazer. I went home and fixed it, sewed it down with my sewing machine and gave it a penguin cut. I also bought the lilac button up and green shirt there since I couldn’t find a green vest so I sewed down the green shirt into a vest and added the button. I got the tie at the Goodwill also for like 50 cents but since I don’t know how to tie a tie and didn’t want to deal with it the whole night at the Halloween party, I cut it small, sewed Velcro tape to it so it can be on an off easily. I wanted some sexy bottoms to add that girl look to it so since I couldn’t find some purple ruffly undies I bought some white ones, went to Micheal’s and got RIT purple dye and dyed them at home. I was gonna do high thigh on socks but instead I got purple stockings at Frederic’s and just wore black heels.
I got ready on my own, so first I spray painted my hair green, then did my make up. I did my face all white then tried not to do all black on my eyes so I kinda did it less than what he has and so did the red lips. I used a red lipstick an messed with it for a bit till I got the perfect smile. WHY SO SERIOUS??
Most people really liked my costume cus it was unique and no other girl had it nor a guy. Well at least at the party I went to. I had a couple of strangers taking pictures of me. I posted pictures on my instagram account and facebook an my friends loved the creativeness.so I was happy with my costume !!
