Coolest Homemade Gomez and Mortica from the Adams Family Costumes

I had no idea what to have my children be and I had limited funds. So every year I try to come up with homemade costume ideas. My son was a pirate one year from a homemade costume in 2007 and I was amazed because his costume looked better than all the kids wearing store bought costumes. So we thought about it, and came up with the Homemade Gomez and Mortica from the Adams Family Costumes.

We put in the DVD and looked at their outfits for ideas. I just used a pin stripe suit my son had for church and drew on the mustache. My daughter had the black long dress for dress-up for years. I think it was a witches dress originally. They both play the role well, my son will pretend to speak French and kiss up her arm! Their ages are 5 and 8 yrs. Everyone knew who they were suppose to be because they acted the part!
