Lucas wanted to be a monster truck for Halloween: Grave Digger to be exact. He didn’t like the one that could be purchased online so we decided to make our own. We got lots of homemade Grave Digger Monster Truck Halloween costume ideas from your website and others to create our monster truck!
We used foam board for the 4 sides, we painted the graphics, added working headlights (with stick-on lights that are battery operated), reflectors for tail lights, a Grave Digger license plate and flag, a hood (pizza box) that opens to reveal a picture of an engine, and a steering wheel that came from his 4th Birthday cake!
And what is a monster truck without over-sized tires!! They were made of trash bags stuffed with newspaper and a styrofoam circle. It looked just like the real thing! Lucas was the happiest little boy this Halloween with his Grave Digger costume!!!
