Jack frost is a recycled 70’s white John Travolta costume with homemade added touches. I used craft foam and cut icicles which hung on shoulders, pocket, sleeves and collar. Added icy branches to collar, sprayed entire jacket with craft snow. Use white hair color to spike up hair with touch of blue, white clown powder for face then sprayed entire person with glitter hair spray to give that final glistening sparkle. This doesn’t show up in photo but looked awesome in person.
Ice princess used a old white dress from Goodwill which we added sparkly garland to bodices and trim. Hair was done same as Jack and entire costume and person sprayed with sparkly hairspray. Her “crown” was made of cheap hair headband from $1 tree with Christmas icicle ornaments hot glued upward. Added white hoody for warmth.
Everyone went wild for the Homemade Jack Frost and Ice Princess Unique Couple Costume Ideas and they won their costume contest.
My son who’s ten, is not the most confident person and struggles sometimes, he is due to play jack frost in his school play about the seasons and forces of nature, he had some great idea’s about what he wanted his costume to be like but had trouble putting it into words and then we were just looking at the computer one day and came across the pictures from Chris S in Alliance, Ohio, USA, they were fab, my son loved them and if Chris reads this i just wanted to say thank-you, all the way from England, for the brilliant idea’s and pictures.
Just about to out the finishing touches to my jack frost outfit for tonight’s party – thanks so much!
