Coolest Homemade Jack Sparrow Pirate Child Costume

My son was so impressed with my husband’s Jack Sparrow costume he wanted me to make him a mini version. I made the pants, jacket, sash and vest from old cloth I had, I purchased the hat (no way was I going to attempt that one). Made him boot tops and used an old belt I had for his sword holder.

We had a blast applying his goatee with hair I cut off of his wig. We used gold tin foil off a candy wrapper to make his gold tooth. After adding assorted necklaces we had the makings of a great costume. My son stayed in character the whole night and his homemade Jack Sparrow pirate child costume won first place in the costume contest.
