This Homemade Joker Halloween Costume was pretty easy to put together. I found all of the clothing items (blouse, green vest, purple jacket, tie) at the local Goodwill. I wore a pair of old blue jeans. I scrunched my hair a little bit and sprayed it with temporary green hair coloring.
For the face, I looked a picture up online to see what the makeup looked like. I then used white face paint (no special kind) to cover my entire face, except my smile area and around the eyes. I then used the black paint to cover the eye area, including the eyelids. The paint closest to the eye is dark black, and as it gets farther away from the eye I tried to mix it with the white to create a grayish color.
For the mouth, I simply used the red paint to make a smile across my face. After a while, the red paint on my lips started to burn but I got used to it eventually. I wore a pair of brown shoes with the outfit. The face paint came off fairly easy; just be careful when scrubbing around the eye area.
I wore this costume to my college’s Halloween dance and everyone loved it!
