For the better part of the movie, Juno wears a Slinky t-shirt. I created this t-shirt by drawing the design in Adobe Illustrator and printing it on an iron-on-transfer ($10.00 per package) and ironing it onto a t-shirt (less than $5.00). There are Slinky t-shirts now available online.
The jeans and the hoodie were clothing that I already owned. I purchased the plaid skirt at Khol’s ($5.00). My two props were the Slushy cup which I drank from during the party, and a hamburger phone that I carved out of a block of Styrofoam and painted. I carved out a space on the bottom and inserted my cell phone.
The iconic pregnant belly was a pillow tied around my waist. This is my Homemade Juno Costume.
