Coolest Homemade Katy Perry Costume

I always make my own costumes as I don’t like spending too much money on something I will wear once, and this one was no different. After lots of looking online I saw that no-one had copied the bikini top and that got me thinking.

I got my nan to help me knit the buns, I then sewed them onto an old bikini top, the shorts I already owned and were years old. And bought a cheap blue wig from the internet and made sure it looked similar.

I got lots of compliments on my homemade Kate Perry costume and it was so much fun when the song came on at the party.
