Coolest Homemade Kids Thor Costume

I made this homemade kids Thor costume for my 3 year old son using a pattern for a race car driver’s jump suit. The “flesh” has muscles sewn in, although not visible when he is wearing the vest. I made modifications to the pattern to fit the illustration of Thor I was working from. I purchased the hammer, but made the rest.

The helmet was cut out of a foam pith helmet and spray painted silver, wings and hair were added to complete the look. The “boots” are part of the legs of the costume and I used gold rope trim to “lace” them up.
