I am a huge KISS fan so my friend and I decided to dress up in homemade KISS costumes for Halloween.
We went to the thrift store and got her jacket and boots. She used a piece of cardboard to cut out a star to dip in silver glitter glue and we found this great silver material to put on it for the trim for her Paul Stanley costume (The Demon). I had an old pair of football pads laying around the house, I cut a few pieces off, then spray painted them gray.
I went to the goodwill and found me a pair of ski boots, I painted them gray and went and bought me two tree faces and glued the eyes on and used red glitter glue for the red in the eyes. The belt was made with cardboard that I covered with an old car seat cover then used bee bottle caps for studs. The arm pieces were made using shin-guards bought from Wal-mart. The spice were made by bending and shaping thin cardboard.
