Every year our church has a Halloween party and there is a competition for the greatest costume. This year we decided we were going to take home the prize and turn some heads. We purposely showed up late and made a grand entrance. Everyone in the room turned their heads and just stared at us. It took them a while to figure out who we were from the congregation. We got a lot of compliments and ended up wining the Best Group Costume but it didn’t come with a trophy.
Each costume was handmade from scratch by the wives and the wives make-up was done to match their husbands. For the men’s boots we took 2 pieces of wood and attached them to old shoes and covered them with the matching fabric. The men are also wearing women’s spandex to get the full effect but they each had a belt on to cover the family jewels.
It took a couple of days to plan these Homemade KISS Group Costumes and about 8 hrs to make them but in the end it was totally worth it.
