Coolest Homemade Lady Buccaneer Pirate with her Parrot Couple Costume

I used Simplicity patterns 3663 and 2834 for this Homemade Lady Buccaneer Pirate with her Parrot Couple Costume .

The Parrot.
I used red fleece for the main part of the costume. I then hand sewed 7 red feather boas, 1 blue boa and 1 yellow boa. It took hours and hours of hand sewing.

The Lady Buccaneer Pirate.
Jacket: I used a shaded heavy black flannel for the jacket. I added gold braid on the collar and around the bottom edge of the jacket. I added lace to the sleeves at the wrists.

Dress: I used black and white striped satin for the bottom of the dress and white satin for the bodice. I added a piece of lace across the front of the bodice.
