Coolest Homemade Loofah Costumes

My sister and I decided to do something fun this year and checked out your website for ideas. We went to Hobby Lobby and with just around $20, we purchased 200 yards of bridal tulle (3-4 rolls on sale for $5 each), some safety pins and rope and made our Homemade Loofah Costumes!

We just used some clothes we already had and cut the tulle and bunched it up and pinned it on to our clothes. I used a long tank top and my sister used a dress. Then we pinned on the rope. I braided some trim from the fabric store and my sister bought some rope at the hardware store! We had lots of fun on Halloween and we even had a gal ask us if she could exfoliate…ewwwwe…but it was funny!

I also hot glued an iridescent Christmas ornament onto a barrette so it looked like I had bubbles on my head. It’s a great costume if you looking for something fun!
