For this Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland Costume Idea I found everything second hand or had already owned. The hair is mine, thanks to having it long I was able to crimp it and spray it green. The hat was probably the most difficult to find used. Brand New at least $30.00. My hat was just plain black, I ended up adding a longer scarf from my moms closet, some knitting needles, and small gold safety pins for decoration.
I found some tea gloves from the second hand store and cut the tips of the fingers off. The jacket is actually a girls Guess coat, also from the thrift store, that fit just right. The bow, Mom’s closet again. I really have a lot of thanking to do to my Mom, she also pulled the whole look together with doing my makeup. The pants, you guessed it- Mom’s closet! My inspiration came from Tim Burton’s Alice and Wonderland!
