This Homemade Mister Peanut Halloween Costume was the funnest costume I ever created. In MN its cold during Halloween so I stayed nice and toasty! For the body I used faux wool material cut out in the shape of a peanut and gathered elastic through the bottom for the bubble effect.
Next I sponge painted brown spots all over. I constructed the hat using 3 cereal boxes and one pizza box and spray painted it black. I wore black tights and a shirt along with white gloves. I had saddle shoe slippers from high school so I wore them.
To top it off, I pinned a left turn sign on me. Not only was I Mr. Peanut, but the sign made me a “left nut”.
