I wanted to be something original this year instead of a commercial store bought idea, so for the past 2 months I searched around for an unique costume idea. I have naturally long blonde hair, so looked up famous people with blonde hair and came across the Morton Salt girl. I loved the idea of being the character that is on the Morton Salt products, because nobody else would be it.
Five days before the big Halloween party in our town, I even cut 7 inches of my hair off. It is not a bob like the Morton girl, but it was as close to it I could get to it without having short hair. At the party, all I needed to do was put my umbrella and show the salt can, and everyone would be in awe!
Needless to say, my Morton Salt Girl Costume was a hit because of its originality.
