Coolest Homemade Mr. Peanut Costume

I fist got the idea for Mr. Peanut from an episode of Seinfeld where George was describing some guy with a cane, a monocle and top hat and Jerry asks incredulously “Who is this guy, Mr. Peanut!?”

I wanted to do the Homemade Mr. Peanut Costume for several years but kept forgetting at Halloween. But this year I remembered, and I think its the best costume I’ve ever done.

It was pretty easy to put together:
-Top hat, white gloves, spats, and monocle bought online
-Two yellow t-shirts
-Black long johns
-Black under-armor shirt
-Yellow face paint
-Tissue paper

To create the torso, I cut one of the t-shirts just below the chest and stapled it to the bottom of the other t-shirt to create the single piece. I cut off the sleeves of the bottom shirt for my legs and stapled the neck shut. The rest is pretty self explanatory.

Hope you like!
