It took me over a month to grow my beard, I used rope painted gold for most of the chains. Painter’s bib and brace for dungarees dyed several times, once pink. Plimsoles that were too small, clip on earrings that left me scarred for life. Brown face paint (several layers as I am pretty pale). Mascara to dye my beard black.
I am naturally bald so had to find some realistic afro hair so I got a fancy dress chest wig which doubled for T’s mohawk. Kitchen roll inserts sprayed gold for T’s cuffs. Took me over 4 hours to get ready but was really worth it as my costume went down a storm. I even bought a lot of Snickers bars to throw at people. I pity the fools that think my Homemade Mr T Costume isn’t good. Check me out sucka’s!
