Coolest Homemade Mystique Costume Idea

I died my hair from platinum blonde to my natural auburn hair color for my mother’s 50th birthday. I decided to do a costume with red hair this year. After going thru so many ideas I decided to try to make the homemade Mystique costume.

I used a liquid shiny blue and made a unitard with a back zipper from no pattern to fit my body exactly but not too tightly. I then stuffed the costume with towels and sheets, and encrusted the costume with lace overlay. I then added glitter and puff paint and more glitter. I also bought a plain craft mask and treated it the same and overlayed all the fabrics til it matched the costume and ‘voila’, I had a matching mask. I am very happy with the result.
