Coolest Homemade Neverending Story Halloween Costume

This homemade Neverending Story Halloween cosutme idea actually came from a friend of mine who thought I looked like the child-like empress. We used beads and wire from craft store to make the head piece and used hair pins to keep it in place. I went with a white dress from an old angel costume because it had that sheer sleeves like the empress.

For Atreyu we found the necklace online… the dark brown pants, suede jacket, and belt at a thrift store. We used suede pieces from the craft store to make the belt pouch. The jacket was cut up to look like an open shirt… and leather string was woven on the trim of the jacket. The shoes were actually slippers found in a 99cent store.

This was a time consuming project… but overall we’re really happy with the results. It was nice to see how happy and nostalgic it made other people feel too =)
