My wife and I where looking for the most original costume for our daughter and we bumped into the peacock bird. Since that moment we decided to look for feathers and a fabric that matched the color of the bird.
Finally we found everything we neede and the hard and complicated part was to put the feathers together, so I came out with the idea of using a piece of foam and insert one by one and glue them and the same time add straps on the back and a belt.
A family member made the blouse and skirt, in the end we like the result. It looks very original and this is a 100% Homemade Peacock Bird Costume. Hope you like it.
I like your costume. How long did it take you to create it?
Thank you for your comment.
We spend between 2-4 days.

The Feather Store.com, they sell them in bulk for rather inexpensively.
