I try to steer clear of store bought costumes but my wife really liked this toddler pirate for our daughter. Since we were planning on pulling her in her wagon I decided to make it into a pirate ship. I built a basic frame that fits over the wagon from scrap wood and paneling from my garage. The mast is PVC pipe painted to look like wood. The skull on the front is store bought but the crossbones are made from Sculpy clay. It was actually pretty easy to do. I came up with the name and painted it on the back. I hope you enjoy the pictures of Captain Lily Poopdeck and The Cranky Minnow.
If anybody needs help or has questions of how to make this Homemade Pirate Shp Wagon and Pirate Costume, let me know and I can give a better breakdown of how to make it.
I would love to here more!
