Coolest Homemade Poison Ivy and Joker Couple Costume

We decided on a Homemade Poison Ivy and Joker couple costume for Halloween, and of course I don’t buy costumes, the fun about costumes is making them!

For the Joker, we got used clothes from thrift stores and cut and dyed them to be what we wanted! As for the makeup we did it ourselves based off the movie!

For Poison Ivy, I bought a one-piece body suit shown here, but I glued each piece of ivy on by hand covering the one piece. I made the cape from scratch using green fabric and ivy bought from a craft store.

For the makeup, I made myself as glowy orange as I could, based off the movie! I made the ivy eyebrows out of makeup, giving me the plant look! For my hair I just used spray dye and stuck some ivy in my hair. the spray made my hair kind of unmanageable, but I thought it worked out great!

When we made our homemade Poison Ivy and Joker couple costumes, we knew we couldn’t make them half good they had to be as good as the movies! These outfits are totally handmade and original, you will never find outfits like these anywhere else! No one even realized it was us under all the makeup and dye!
