This year for Halloween I wanted to do something cool that I didn’t see very many people doing; so my roommate and I decided to be sexy superhero villains. Trying to figure out how I was going to make this Homemade Poison Ivy Halloween Costume Idea, I found an old white skirt and a corset. I thought about dying them green and adding fake ivy leaves, but I heard that dye would not work if you were using man-made fabric. I then decided that I was going to spray paint them green (from Wal-Mart) and then I went to Hobby Lobby and bought a fake vine of leaves.
After the spray paint, I individually cut the leaves off and hot glued each one onto the corset. Then I bought gold spray glitter, red hair spray, fake eyelashes, and face paint from Wal-Mart. I sprayed my hair red, curled it, sprayed the glitter all over me, and used the face paint for my eye make-up.
It was easy and everyone LOVED it!!
