My daughter Kylie is a dancing, cheer leading, mani/pedi kinda girl and she is only 5. When I asked her what she wanted to be for Halloween this year, she said a purse. I thought she was kidding at first, but she was dead serious. So, it was off to Joann Fabric to see what we could come up with for our Homemade Purse Costume.
The ladies in the fabric department were so charmed by the idea that they helped me sketch it out and pick materials that would really make it look authentic. After a couple of hours looking for just the right touches, we headed home with about $35.00 worth of supplies and got to work.
Believe it or not, this was a pretty easy costume to make. We used mostly 3M spray glue and Velcro to put it together. In the end, we came up with the perfect costume for my little diva in training. I can’t imagine a costume that could better capture her little personality.
hey this is nice one good idea
