Coolest Homemade Rapunzel in her Tower Costume

I love my Homemade Rapunzel in her Tower Costume! I decided to be Rapunzel after reading a story online and thought it would be super cool. I started with regular cream colored foam from Walmart, cardboard, and some foam dominoes that I found at the Dollar store!

I spray painted the foam and cardboard grey. I made a cylinder out of the foam and tied it together with grey ribbon in the back like a corset so I could get in and out (you know to go to the bathroom!) Then I cut out a hole for my face (in the shape of a window) and holes for my arms.

For the top my castle I cut the cardboard to look like the top of the tower and glued it to the foam. The domino game pieces I spray painted a lighter grey to look like bricks and glued them to the foam. I purchased the long wig online and braided it myself and borrowed an old grad dress from my sister.

The final piece was the plastic dragon I glued on top the castle! (even though there are no dragons in the Rapunzel story I thought it added to the look). To make it a group costume my brother in law dressed as a knight and my nephew was a little dragon! It was so cute and everyone loved it!
