This is a Homemade Robot Costume I made for my son for his Halloween Parade at school. I used boxes for the body and painted them silver. I also used reflectors on the front and back to resemble lights. I printed pictures of various gauges and thermometers and glued to the body. I used dryer vent hose for the arms and legs. I also named the robot using my son’s name and glued it to the back of the costume. I used 2 straws and painted them and glued to the top to resemble antennas.
This took me about 3 hours to make but it was well worth it. My son was so excited and his friends loved it. It was awesome and he won in his class for his costume.
