Coolest Homemade Ronald McDonald and Hamburgler Costume

This Homemade Ronald McDonald and Hamburgler Costume was a HUGE hit at the office, and trick-or-treating. It was very simple to make, and not very expensive to buy the accessories.

I bought white zip-up painters coveralls, spray painted the main body yellow. For the arms, I took regular paper tape, and colored it red with a marker (could use red tape if you can find it), and just taped it around the arms. The red stripe and McDonald sign was just paper colored and glued on!

As for the socks, I even made those too. I just had an old striped shirt I cut into sections large enough to wrap around my legs and used “No-Sew” Glue to glue them around the bottom of my pants. I did buy the shoes at a local magic/costume shop, as well as the wig. Just some creative make-up and wham! Ronald McDonald.

As for Hamburgler, my friend purchased a prisoner costume. We got a red tie and glued hamburger pictures we printed off the internet. We also sprayed her hair orange. The hat and cap was purchased separately.

This was the BEST costume ever. The kids trick-or-treating would just run up and hug me! So much fun!
