The gang is all here! Due to the large amount of press that Katy Perry received for her barely there top on her episode of Sesame Street, my friends and I thought that the Sesame Street gang + Katy Perry would make the best Halloween costumes ever! The dresses and sashes are all hand made, including Katy Perry’s corseted dress and the feather embellishment on Big Birds’ dress! The headpieces with exclusion of Big Bird are all also hand made out of feather boas shaped to look like the characters. The shoes have all been embellished from old shoes, by using rhinestones at the back of the heel, coordinating glitter all over the shoes and bows! Cookie Monster also carried around a bucket of cookies to pass out and Elmo charged a fee to tickle her! The costumes were all fitted to each of the girls to ensure a perfect fit! Wow! I would never guess that I would see someone pull off Katy Perry on her infamous appearance on Sesame Street (which is YouTube exclusive). I would LOVE to try to do this with a friend of mine who is a stylist and looks like Katy Perry in a way. I just need her permission.
