This Homemade Shrek and Fiona Couple Halloween Costume was very easy and fun to make! Everyone loved our costumes, and they were a big hit!
Shrek:
For clothing we found a white long sleeved shirt, black vest, pajama pants and a belt. We made sure to tear the clothing a little to make them look rough. We adjusted the clothing to look like it was tighter than usual. For the makeup we bought tons of green make up! Covered face and hands! For the head, we purchased a baldcap and we paper mached the ears. Once everything was dried, we painted the head piece green. Glued the ears on, and Shrek was complete!
Fiona:
The wig was purchased, but it would have been very easy to make. We purchased the wig from buycostumes.com and would highly recommend it. It was comfortable and not too heavy. For make up we did the same as Shrek, also to give Fiona a girly touch, eyeshadow, mascara, blush and lipstick were added. The dress was purchased from a Thift Store and all we did was add a ribbon in the middle. Green tights were worn and flipflops!
Both costumes cost us $35.00. Without the wig, it would have been a lot cheaper.
