Wow…what a great thing that happened last October, my daughter wanted to be Spongebob for Halloween. I had spent the last 6 years going to the mall and purchasing store bought costumes that were expensive in price and cheap looking. I always figured it would be too difficult to make a costume myself. Well, after making the decision to try my hand at homemade I had to think out the logistics ( believe it or not ..a cardboard box didn’t occur to me at first).
I was trying to come up with something that was comfortable and actually looked like Spongebob so it took about 3 hours total and less that 5 dollars and we received so much more positive attention and most importantly it made Halloween so much more fun. I have since bought a sewing machine and started creating lots of different things that were sparked by this. We got so much more out of this Homemade Spongebob Kids Costume because we put so much more into it.
