This is my Homemade Spy Halloween Costume Idea from Spy vs. Spy! It’s an old cartoon from MAD Magazine and Mad TV. My 11 year old son wanted to be a spy for Halloween but wanted something different. The “fedora” is a witches hat that was cropped off at the top and sewn. The mask was made from a milk carton and a disposable plastic cutting board. They were taped together and paper mache applied. It was then enclosed in a fabric mask with fine mesh type fabric to see through the eyes.
The rest of the costume was a black turtleneck with wire in the bottom seam and black pants and white clown gloves. He used store-bought dynamite for a prop.
Cool costume. I only wish I had 1/2 your creativity and talent. I try every year but don’t even come close to anything this creative
This is an amazing costume looks exactly like the spy in spy vs spy! I would have thought this was store bought~AMAZING!!!!
What a beautiful hand-crafted costume! You sure do have a wonderful imagination to think of and execute such an original design.
How did the mask stay on? Did the milk jug create kind of a helmet?
